Printable Tango Puzzles: 6×6 and 8×8 with Answers
Download six original Tango puzzles in a five-page PDF: three puzzle pages and two separate answer pages. Print only pages 1–3 for solvers; keep pages 4–5 as the answer key.
What's included?
One easy, medium and hard board at each of 6×6 and 8×8. The paper symbols are S for sun and M for moon; = means equal and x means opposite. Duplicate lines are allowed.
Every answer is recomputed and checked for uniqueness when the pack is built. These practice boards are separate from the daily set. The PDF uses white cells, dark grid lines and plain text symbols, so its meaning does not depend on colour.

Rules to read before printing
- Fill each row and each column with half of each symbol.
- Never put three identical symbols consecutively, horizontally or vertically.
- Follow every = and x sign between its two neighbouring cells.
A 6×6 line needs three of each symbol; an 8×8 line needs four. Do not import the classic Takuzu distinct-lines rule.
Practise the symbols before using the pack
This separate online teaching checkpoint uses suns and moons. The pack uses S and M for reliable monochrome printing. See the explained next move.
Classroom and club use
Print on A4 or US Letter using “fit to page.” Teachers, clubs and newsletters may print and redistribute this pack unchanged for free, including its credit and source links. No registration or email is needed. Use the five-minute classroom routine for a short discussion without a race to finish.
